Cloak of Wonders

Cloak of Wonders, so he called it,
Bursting through, in din of battle,
Past the priests, to holy altar,
Gold and silver, quills and ermine,
Gems that fell from it like laughter.
Smiled his Avatar, first trying
On the garment, shroud of power,
Lustful, fearless and hungry,
On its ownership his thoughts were.

"Shreds of Envy", whispered Pava,
Looking into pool of seeing,
Iamar shrugged, "Or Shroud of Power,
Nobly carried, like his might."
To the eyes of Sire and Mistress,
Brought Badan the gold-thread garment,
Knelt, the cloth of priests presented,
And received his just reward.



This is what happens when one doesn't provide for enough natural-esque background. If your eyes aren't bleeding after watching the color clashes, please raise your hand.

On another hand (har har), 've wanted a kick-ass mystical cloak that a godling might present to their sire and mistress in exchange for unspecified goodies. This sort of looks like one. ... Never mind that it'd be completely unwearable!

Will probably touch up this one a little more, maybe add a black background/minor details.
