Plant update!

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 1:13 PM
Well, I've gotten rid of all of the NOID african violet babies through trade. 4 out of 6 people have come through with their part of the deal, which is pretty standard for online trades..

Artsiness is doing well. I've entered FRWL #2 into a local craft show. #4 and a yet-unposted one are going into a member show at the local arts depot in the end of the month. Contemplating trying to sell one on Ebay, but have serious doubts about that particular system.

  • Mood: Neutral
  • Reading: Terry Pratchett's Diskworld series

Once upon a time, there was a girlie. And then she moved across an ocean, did some art, gotten two degrees, raised a large number of pets and plants, got engaged to a hard-working mostly-Scottish and primarily-ethical guy, and lived happily ever after.

The end.

P.S.
At some point, she skinned some birds, played one MUD too many, and found midwestern US beautiful.

Thanks for the fav. Be sure to keep an eye out for this semesters pottery. I'm using techniques I've never tried before and with refueled inspiration which is truly revolutionizing my work. Just gotta get them fired a couple more times and pics will be up asap.

I love the tiny panels!! :w00t:

Still having embroidery block? I have kind lately, too... but I think for me it's 'cause I've been so into macrame.

Thanks.

Nope, the embroidery block's been forced through, just this past week!

Macrame? o_O

I can't explain it - it just makes me feel..... happy and relaxed, I guess. It's one of those things that I had a book on how to do it, and once I started, it was like my hands just knew how to do it. I have to make all of the stuff floating around in my head to get it out of my system. LOL But hey - I've acquired a new skill, right? =D
